Jr. Growers inspires youth aged 9-12 to connect
with the land and soil, food, community, and opportunity.

Jr. Growers will:
Work alongside farmers and community leaders to learn about regenerative agriculture;
Learn how to grow and cook their own food and pick up some serious ag skills;
Engage in awesome S.T.E.A.M activities;
Sharpen their teamwork, communication & leadership skills;
and create many lasting memories on-farm, hands-on.

A day in the life of a Jr. Grower:
When Jr. Growers arrive they will build community with their peers and then take care of the animals on-farm. They will work alongside our farmers tending to the care of the fields before they harvest, prepare and share a community lunch. After lunch, Jr. Growers will participate in a variety of STEAM activities hosted by our amazing network of community educators as well as plan special events for our Wednesday Farmers Markets (and have some surprise fun in there too :).
