You will register by the month for the 2-week series of sessions.
We request that adults do not attend Jr. Growers sessions so they can gain independence.
Details will be emailed to you upon registration.

The Jr. Growers Saturdays two-week session has a suggested cost of $20 per Jr. Grower
or you may Pay What You’re Able.
Each Jr. Grower will need their own registration.

Saturday Sessions Schedule

March 2024: Let's Get Growing! Registration closed.

April 2024: Earth, Wind, and Water
Soil is the building block of everything we grow. Join us to learn how we make soil through compost and how we keep it from washing and blowing away with our perennial and native plant beds. We will make art with found materials on the farm and do some nature journaling of our native gardens which will culminate in a ‘zine. Jr. Growers will also get to take home their very own seeds to start their own native gardens.

May 2024: Small life on the farm
From those that we raise, like the bees and worms, to those that we invite with our flowers and pollinator hotels, insects play a role in keeping the farm growing. Whether they eat the bugs we call pests, pollinate the flowers, or keep the soil healthy they all do something cool. Not only will we learn about the smaller life that keeps a farm thriving but we will also make bug hotels to take home.

June 2024: Plants, Roots and Shoots

July 2024: The Wonder of Water

August 2024: Playing with your Food

September 2024: Canceled. Come out to Farm Fest on September 7th!

October 2024: Fall on the Farm
