KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. Coalition Event: Regenerative Agriculture Practices - Work & Learn
Regenerative agriculture is about working with nature to rebuild soil health, and it's also so much more than that. Join us for a day of hands-on learning from farmers who use regenerative growing practices at their farms and ranches.

Come prepared:
Wear warm-weather workwear and closed toe shoes. We'll be outside most of the day.

About KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. CoalitionKC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. (aka Kansas City Farmers and Ranchers for Mentoring, Education, and Resource Sharing) Coalition is a project led by KC Farm School at Gibbs Road and Kansas City Black Urban Growers Inc. (KC BUGs). It was developed with seasoned growers and ranchers to provide support, community, and hands-on education for aspiring and new growers and ranchers across the Kansas City region and to transition/preserve farmland for the coming generations.

Join us at the Midwest Center for Regenerative Agriculture (MCRA) at Powell Gardens with Cassandra Everly of Good Oak, to learn about breed selection for your farm’s scale/climate, animal husbandry, and regenerative management for raising livestock.

Farm Stop Open + CSA Pickup
New in 2026, KC Farm School is offering a Farm Stop (farm store) so that our community can access our regeneratively grown produce and our trusted partners’ veggies and goods more often!

The Farm Stop will be open to the public on Wednesdays from 3-7 pm, Thursdays from 9 am - Noon, and Saturdays from 9 am -Noon.
