KC Farm School provides information on selecting your garden site, planning your garden space,
Β Β Β Β deciding what to grow when and how, how to start your own seeds, how to harvest, how to save seeds,
Β Β Β Β and how to prepare food from the garden.
Launched in 2020 in response to the pandemic, we've worked with over 800 households
Β Β Β Β to grow food in backyards, front yards, in pots, on patios, in straw bales,
Β Β Β Β and climbing up fences across Wyandotte County, all increasing food sovereignty in our community.
Β Β Β Β Our team has planned multiple on-farm workshops, volunteer opportunities in the greenhouse,
Β Β Β Β a community-wide Spring & Fall workshop, and several informal gatherings for 2026.
