KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. Coalition: Agritourism + Volunteer Management Work & Learn

We will explore the field of Agrotourism, looking at different ideas and ways to highlight the unique aspects of your farm. We will learn about composting toilets, on-farm accessibility and curating spaces for educational and recreational experiences.

Time: 10 AM - 2 PM

Format: On-farm, hands-on day with tours and demonstrations as well as hands-on work

Location: Sankara Farm, 7419 Murkins Rd, Kansas City, MO 64133

Come prepared:

  • Wear warm-weather workwear and closed-toe shoes. We will be learning and working outside.

  • We will have water coolers. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

  • Please bring a non-perishable food item to share for a potluck lunch.
