FARM FEST at Common Ground 2026
Saturday, October 3, Noon-5 pm | 2443 S. 42nd St., KCK, 66106
Farm Fest is a free family festival that is a celebration of local food, the environment, and the power of community.
Each year, over 1,000 attendees from across Kansas City come together on our farm in Wyandotte County to experience a shared community meal, farm tours, hands-on workshops, fun and games, entertainment, access community resources,
and support local growers and makers at our Farm Fest Market.
This year, we are combining Farm Fest with the Kaw Valley Farm Tour on which we are a host site.
We can not wait to see you at Farm Fest to show you around the land, share a meal, and have loads of FUN!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT FARM FEST

We are a host site for the Kaw Valley Farm Tour this year and are pairing the tour with Farm Fest so everyone can get to know this land we love and tend, and have some extra fun too!

See the Farm Fest agenda for times and map of where to meet.

We’re serving up a free community meal this year while trying something NEW!
Pizza is on the menu this year! We ask for your patience as we see how cooking pizzas with 1000 of our neighbors works, but we bet it will be worth it!

HOW TO JOIN IN THE FARM FEST FUN
Show up! We’ll be ready by noon to welcome you!
We suggest that you bring a reusable water bottle and dress for the weather.
Our farm is big, so closed-toe, comfy shoes are recommended.
Although Farm Fest is free, a little pocket money is recommended if you’d like to shop at the Farm Fest Makers + Growers market.
Be ready to have some fun!
