FARM FEST at Common Ground 2026

Saturday, October 3, Noon-5 pm | 2443 S. 42nd St., KCK, 66106

Farm Fest is a free family festival that is a celebration of local food, the environment, and the power of community.

Each year, over 1,000 attendees from across Kansas City come together on our farm in Wyandotte County to experience a shared community meal, farm tours, hands-on workshops, fun and games, entertainment, access community resources,
and support local growers and makers at our Farm Fest Market.

This year, we are combining Farm Fest with the Kaw Valley Farm Tour on which we are a host site.

We can not wait to see you at Farm Fest to show you around the land, share a meal, and have loads of FUN!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT FARM FEST

HOW TO JOIN IN THE FARM FEST FUN

Show up! We’ll be ready by noon to welcome you!

We suggest that you bring a reusable water bottle and dress for the weather.
Our farm is big, so closed-toe, comfy shoes are recommended.
Although Farm Fest is free, a little pocket money is recommended if you’d like to shop at the Farm Fest Makers + Growers market.
Be ready to have some fun!

HOW TO GET TO FARM FEST

Farm Fest is a block party so the road between Common Ground and Gibbs Road Farm will be blocked off.
Parking will be available at our wonderful neighbors (Charlie and Nancy), Junction Elementary, and Master’s Church.
The easiest way to find Farm Fest is to take the Shawnee Drive exit off of I-635 and head east to South 42nd Street. Turn north on South 42nd Street and you will find us! Shuttles will be available.
Please do not park at Gibbs Road Farm.
